The Quinces Dance: When two fruits from my Provençal garden led to a dual exhibition in Hong Kong
In 2023, when I was still living in the South of France, near Aix-en-Provence, I fell under the spell of two quinces freshly picked from my garden. They were dancing. And so was my heart.
From this contemplation, two photographs were born. Each tells, in its own way, a story of encounter: first times, lost or lasting loves, small and great friendships… Those suspended moments just before the joy of truly knowing someone — precious and fleeting instants we often forget, yet which silently guide and support us, both on our inner journey and in our daily lives.
I am very happy to announce that these two photographs (along with others) will be shown simultaneously at two different venues in Hong Kong, from May 14 to 17.
"La danse des coings 1" will be presented by Children of the Mekong (Hong Kong) as part of "Art Across Boundaries", a charity exhibition benefiting educational programs in Southeast Asia, organised in collaboration with the French May.

En 2023, lorsque j’habitais encore dans le Sud-Est de la France, près d’Aix-en-Provence, je suis tombée sous le charme de deux coings fraîchement cueillis dans mon jardin. Ils dansaient. Et mon cœur aussi.
De cette contemplation sont nées deux photographies. Chacune d’elle raconte à sa manière une rencontre : celle des toutes premières fois, des amours perdus ou qui perdurent, des petites et grandes amitiés… Ces moments suspendus qui précèdent la joie de connaître l’autre — instants précieux et fugitifs que l’on oublie facilement, mais qui nous guident silencieusement et nous soutiennent, autant sur notre chemin intérieur que dans la vie.
Je suis très heureuse d’annoncer que ces deux photos (ainsi que d’autres) seront exposées simultanément dans deux lieux différents à Hong Kong, du 14 au 17 mai.
